Call for papers

The Economic Freedom of the World project invites submissions of scholarly papers featuring innovative and interesting applications of the Economic Freedom of the World index. Papers may be technical or non-technical but must be well-written and intended for an international audience that includes policy makers and journalists as well as academics.

After an initial editorial review, selected submissions will be refereed by anonymous external reviewers before final acceptance for publication. Chosen papers will be published as one of up to three special chapters in the 2010 Annual Report. Small stipends will be awarded for accepted papers as well.

The deadline for submission is March 1, 2010.
