Pierre Garello, director of IES-Europe, is Professor of Economics at the Faculté d'Economie Appliquée of Paul Cézanne University in Aix-en-Provence, France.
He is responsible for the research at the Paul Cézanne University. He has published various articles on Austrian economics, law and economics (especially competition law and contract law).
He received his PhD in economics in 1992 from New York University where he worked on perception and decision theories.
He is a member of the IREF, a think tank that promotes fiscal federalism.
He is also at the center of a liberal network in Europe and is the coordinator of the European liberal think tanks Resource Bank.

Gregory Rehmke is Program Consultant for the Institute for Economic Studies-Europe, and a speaker at IES-Europe seminar series. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Washington and has worked with the Reason Foundation, the Institute for Humane Studies, the Center for the American Idea, and the Foundation for Economic Education. In addition to directing programs for Economic Thinking, Mr. Rehmke is a speaker at student programs for the Independent Institute, the Mackinac Center, the Houston World Affairs Council, and the Institute for Economic Studies-Europe. He is a member of theMackinac Center Board of Scholars and has written on environmental topics for PERC Reports, a newsletter of the Political Economy Research Center (renamed the Property and Environment Research Center) in Bozeman, Montana. He has written over one hundred articles on public policy topics as well as published resource books, study guides, and newsletters focused on the economic aspects of over twenty years of high school and homeschool debate topics.

Since October 2008, Youcef Maouchi has joined as an assistant director at IES while completing his phd in Economic Anlysis of Law and Institutions in Aix-en-Provence.
